Subsecret is based in Maine, USA, where the rocky coastline, lakes and mountains inspire artists of all disciplines.

Subsecret was established by veteran application interface designer and web developer Mike Bryant. Mike co-founded the commercial GUI design studio SkinPlant in 2003, and later helped form Stardock Design.

Mike has worked with clients including ATI Systems, Microsoft, Reuters, Autodesk, Alienware, and many more to develop custom interface graphics and branded desktops.
